Course Overview
This course covers the elements of object-oriented programming
and the Java Programming Language: Primitive data types,
control structures, methods, classes, arrays and strings,
inheritance and polymorphism, interfaces, creating user
interfaces, applets, exceptions and data streams. Laboratory
course. 4 cr.
Prerequisites
Some prior knowledge of programming is assumed. General
experience in working with a computer system, its operating
system and applications is necessary. Internet browsing
skills will be useful.
