Program Outline

Master of Science (MS) in Computer Information Systems - Blended (eLive)

This program embraces the traditional values of face-to-face teaching while integrating the best practices of online learning.  Courses are offered on campus and include four evening on-campus meetings, as well as ongoing, online student-to-student and student-to-faculty collaboration.

The blended “eLive” format provides a perfect framework to give you a solid academic foundation and to develop your abilities for both independent and collaborative learning that will prove beneficial to your professional career. While the flexible schedule accommodates your busy professional lifestyle, eLive courses also strive to combine solid academic foundation with important practical skills and critical business competencies. The courses are designed to create opportunities and experiences which encourage student motivation, curiosity, and self-confidence.

 

ADMISSIONS INFORMATION

Official transcripts of previous academic work and three letters of recommendation are required as part of the application.

A maximum of two graduate-level courses (8 credits) taken at Metropolitan College before acceptance into the program may be applied toward the degree.

Minimum passing grade for a course in the graduate program is C (2.0), but an average grade of B (3.0) must be maintained to be in good academic standing and satisfy the degree requirements.
