Computer Networks
Computer networking is a high growth industry requiring specialized skills
and knowledge. This certificate program helps the student establish a
firm understanding of the fundamental concepts of data communications/computer
networking and builds upon this foundation in the areas of local area
networking, network management and security, as well as programming in
the TCP/IP environment.
Prerequisites
• Any bachelor's degree
• MET CS 201 or MET CS 231 or MET CS 232 or consent of instructor.

The following four courses:
MET CS 535 Data Communications and Computer Networks (formerly TC 535)
MET CS 635 Computer Networks: Design and Implementation (formerly TC 635)
MET CS 676 Internetworking:
TCP/IP Programming and Applications (formerly TC 675)
MET CS 685 Network Management and Computer Security (formerly TC 685)
