MET
College operates four pc laboratories as a resource for our
students and faculty. The laboratories include 70 PC's running
Windows XP, Linux or UNIX. Each lab has a LaserJet networked
printer, scanner and LCD projector. The computer labs hours
are:
Fall
and Spring Semester: Daily: 9:00am to 11:00pm
Summer Term: Mon-Thu: 4:00 to 10:00pm,
Fri-Sun: 12:00 to 6:00pm
Labs
are closed during all holidays, intersession and spring break.
Please note that lab rooms get reserved for classes during
certain hours.

Our computer labs use the following security systems:
•24x7 BU ID-based card access
•24x7 Video monitoring with digital recording
All PCs in our labs are part of BU Active Directory and require Kerberos Authentication to login
All labs have the following hardware: 17 DELL Pentium4 CPU 2.8GHz, 1 GB RAM PCs, HP LaserJet4100 networked printer, scanner and LCD projector
All labs have the following software: McAfee VirusScan, Adobe Reader 7.0, Photoshop CS, MS Office2003 Pro, IE 6.0, WS-FTP, VisualStudio.NET 2003, Oracle 10g, OPNET Modeler v.11, SPSS v.11, , SAS,MS Project2003, Macromedia StudioMX, Micros Fidelio
There is always a lab operator on duty during the hours of operations
In the interest of keeping all equipment running properly, we ask all users to adhere to following rules:
• All
students & faculty must have a user account to use
the lab. 
• No
food/drink/cell phones or personal laptops allowed in the labs.
• Do
not install /download any software on the lab computers.
• Do
not move, open, or tamper with any lab equipment.
• If
any equipment is not working, ask the lab operator for help.
