Julia manages information systems and services at MET & Extended Education. She has 12+ years of experience in different areas of information technology. Julia joined BU in 1997 after working as a research analyst and systems administrator at MIT and American Express. At MET, she manages a team of three System Administrators and 15 student employees who provide IT services and support for all MET faculty, staff and students at six locations and five PC Labs. Julia holds a M.S. in Civil Engineering and is finishing her M.S. in Computer Information Systems at BU.
Tong Cui, Systems Administrator
Tong brings to BU more than 8 years of IT experience. He started as a desktop support specialist while finishing his Bachelor Degree at BU and came back as a Systems Administrator in 2000. Tong is Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE).Tong is in charge of desktop support. He is responsible for all hardware and software installations, maintenance and upgrades. He researches, tests and recommends all new hardware and software for all MET & EE.
Vincent Hom, Systems Administrator
Vincent joined MET IT team in August 2007. He holds B.S. in Computer Science and is finishing his M.S. in Liberal Arts in Information Technology at Harvard University Extension School.
Vincent brings to our team over 10 years of experience in various fields of IT. He will be in charge of MET and SHA PC labs and Help Desk.
Jay Nethala, Systems Administrator
Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). Jay has over six years of systems administration and desktop support experience and is an expert on Windows systems and applications. Jay is responsible for servers’ maintenance and support, backup/restore systems, applications support.
